Meghan Madrigan
Meghan Madrigan, 19, from Fallon, Nevada was crowned Miss Rodeo Nevada 2003 at the Clark County Fair and Rodeo on April 12, 2003 in Logandale, Nevada.
Meghan is a freshman at Western Nevada Community College where she competes on the intercollegiate rodeo team in barrel racing, goat tying and breakaway roping. She plans to attend the University of Nevada, Reno and receive her Bachelors degree in Speech Communications before attending Law School.
“America was settled by cowboys and cowgirls and I believe that the strongest way to keep our western heritage alive is though the sport of rodeo.” said Madrigan. “A rodeo Queen represents America’s number one sport, and I am proud to be Miss Rodeo Nevada, home to some of the largest rodeos in America.”
Meghan enjoys showing hunter jumper and western pleasure horses and is active in 4-H horse and swine programs. She was the 2001 Nevada High School Rodeo Queen and was the 3rd runner up at the National High School Rodeo Queen Pageant. Her hobbies include playing the saxophone.
