Anna Bavor is a 23-year old cowgirl who makes her home in Las Vegas. Her hobbies include showing her American Quarter Horses, singing, scuba diving and working out. She has received numerous awards for Performing Arts and has lent her vocal talents too many choirs. She also enjoys volunteering at a Horse Play Therapeutic Riding Center and with her local 4-H club.
After completing her year-long reign, Anna will finish her education at University of California at Davis, with a major in Communications. She plans a career in marketing and public relations in the Western industry.
Anna’s favorite quote is “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams,” from Eleanor Roosevelt.
Rodeo has been an integral part of Anna’s life and she is an enthusiastic supporter of the sport. She has acquired a love of the outdoors, a respect for all living things, a willingness to work hard and a desire to give back to her community. As Miss Rodeo Nevada, she hopes to be an ambassador for rodeo and a positive role model for young people.
Anna loves to travel and has traveled to more foreign countries than states. She is looking forward to changing that record this year as she travels all over the United States promoting the great State of Nevada and the sport of professional rodeo.
Anna represented the Silver State of Nevada at the 2009 Miss Rodeo America pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada in December 2008.
