Andrea Lynch is a 20 year old sophomore at the University of Nevada-Reno. She is a 5’2” brown eyed, brunette who is currently pursuing a dual degree in Nursing and Accounting with plans to become a nurse practitioner after completing a master’s degree in Nursing. Andrea believes that as a nurse, she will find the greatest possible satisfaction in a career by touching the lives of others.
Andrea’s hobbies include horseback riding, camping, scuba diving and spending time outdoors with her family and friends. She has ridden with the Reno Rodeo flag team for three years, and has been introduced to team penning and sorting, which she hopes to pursue further.
Andrea has spent many hours volunteering with Reno Rodeo’s Black Stallion Literacy program and believes that community involvement gives individuals an opportunity to succeed. “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined” by Henry David Thoreau is a quote that both inspires and personifies Andrea’s life.
Andrea represented Nevada at the 2010 Miss Rodeo America Pageant during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
